bos4675paco2026-03-29 16:46:202026-03-29 16:58:34Summer Party – 18th JulyWelcome to BoSPA and Capital Bank Reunion Group website
The Bank of Scotland Pensioners’ Association (often referred to as BoSPA) is a group of former employees, who are located in the North of England and Wales.
The overall objectives of the Association are to aim to improve the quality of life of our retired pensioners by organising entertainment, educational and social activities in response to needs identified by the managing committee and members and that are consistent with active retirement.
Our District of the Association was formed way back in the year 2000 and over the years since our formation, our members have enjoyed a variety of very successful events, bring ex colleagues together.
We are also pleased to include the Capital Bank Reunion Group (CBRG) as part of our joint initiative to bring together ex colleagues regardless of their Pension status.
Feedback from recent events has confirmed our view that this was the right decision to make. This shared website is the result of that decision.
I hope that you will use this to keep up to date with news, events, and much more.
It will make it easier to know who to contact if you have any queries on your pension, provide access to our welfare facilities and to see at a glance what groups / clubs exist, dates of planned events and how to book.
I, along with your Committee look forward to seeing many of you at our future events.
Many thanks
Alan Bottomley
Chair

Coming Together
Coming Together is an elegant 16m high steel and cast aluminium sculpture by Stephen Broadbent, commissioned by Capital Bank for their call centre in Speke, Liverpool.
The sculpture depicts three striking, angel-like figures reaching toward one another. It’s form is inspired by the Art Deco decoration seen on the old Speke aircraft hangars. The artwork was also a beacon to the planned regeneration of Speke, with the aspiration of ‘coming together’ in co-operation, unity and friendship.
The sculpture was installed in July 1999.
